50 MMA Veterans Sign with New Organization, Launch Set for 2025 🔥
In addition to the 45-year-old "Pitbull," the GFL roster includes former UFC champions Tyron Woodley, Fabricio Werdum, Anthony Pettis, Junior dos Santos, Luke Rockhold, Frank Mir, and Benson Henderson, as well as notable fighters like Aleksei Oleinik, Alexander Gustafsson, Hector Lombard, Marlon Moraes, Wanderlei Silva, Gegard Mousasi, Alan Belcher, Kevin Lee, Rusimar Palhares, Jeremy Stephens, and Abubakar Nurmagomedov.
The first season of GFL, starting next year, will feature six teams representing major global markets, each consisting of twenty fighters, two in each of the ten weight classes.
According to a press release, GFL will offer unprecedented financial benefits to its fighters, giving them 50% of the revenue and making pension contributions to an Athletic Association led by former WSOF champion Marlon Moraes.
The inaugural tournament is scheduled for January 24th.
