Ivan Emelianenko Sentenced to One Year and Six Months in Prison

The brother of renowned fighters Fedor and Alexander Emelianenko was convicted of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm during a street altercation, which led to a criminal case against him.

In 2023, at the age of 35, Ivan unexpectedly entered the pop-MMA scene after a long hiatus. He made his debut in May, defeating veteran judoka Alexey Ledenev in the “REN TV Fight Club.” He followed this with a split-decision victory over Yuri Ryaby.
