“Yes, the first fight with Tsarukyan was one of the toughest, of course, but not the hardest. Five rounds with Volkanovski... that was insane. My heart rate went over 200 (smiles). Maybe I underestimated Arman because he took the fight on short notice,” Makhachev said in an interview with ESPN.
On January 19, at UFC 311 in Los Angeles (USA), Makhachev is set to face fellow Russian Arman Tsarukyan in a highly anticipated rematch.
